The Edible Garden Show is a showcase for some fantastic gardeners, producers, celebrities and it's where I met some great like minded people.
The
show has something for all the family and is packed with not-to-be-missed
exhibits featuring a broad range of outdoor living activities and experiences.
In addition to famous chefs, visitors will enjoy an incredible line-up of
gardening experts including TV presenter James Wong and admired gardening guru Paul Peacock, who will be providing
new ideas to novice gardeners and seasoned growers alike.
The show is a great family day out and under 16's go free.
It's where I discovered the Grow Rings that helped me have the best carrots I have grown on the allotment.
And where we discovered Wolf Garten Tools with their interchangeable system.
This year the show will again be held at Alexandra Palace on 21 and 22 March 2015. I will be attending and really looking forward to getting some great inspiration for this year at the allotment.

DeleteI have just landscaped my garden and had a garden office fitted, so I have to redesign and love my garden all over again, quite sad after 15 years of planting etc, but exciting to choose and plant again, my fave plants are shrubs with lots of flowering containers x
ReplyDeleteA garden is always evolving so I am sure you will have a great time.
DeleteYes, I am in the process of sorting it out for the summer. I love lilies :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a great feeling knowing how all that growing will go on again.
DeleteI'm hoping to do more in my garden this year after having to concentrate on the house last year. I'd love to visit the edible garden show but I won't be available on those dates. Good luck to everyone entering.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great show Janice, shame you can't make it.
DeleteUp until this year out garden has been more of a play area for the children, so my gardening efforts have been just cutting the grass & weeding. My 4 year old has joined the gardening club at school & now has grand designs for our up & coming vegetable patch. Its going to be a family effort, each child choosing their own fruit/veg to grow. We are using upcycled items for it, such as the drum from our broken tumble dryer is going to be turned into a herb garden. The kids are very excited & we are all looking forward to getting our hands dirty. I am most excited about growing tomatoes as I adore the smell or the plants (brings back wonderful childhood memories of my granddads greenhouse) I also am hoping to brighten it up with some Gerbera's as they are my favourite flowers xxx
ReplyDeleteps.... I have my fingers crossed for this competition. My children have seen it advertised & want to go. Looks brilliant xxx
