It was recently the Thanksgiving holiday in America. I
usually celebrate by cooking a huge traditional meal for the family and friends
but this year has been so busy time just flew by!
I had a Facebook message from a childhood friend in the
town I grew up in, Walpole New Hampshire and she posted two pumpkin loaves she
had made for the family day. I asked her for the recipe some time and within 5
minutes she had posted it on Facebook back to me.
It was early enough for me to check I had all the
ingredients so I thought I would make it as my offering for Thanksgiving.
It made two 2lb loaves so I took one to work the
following day which was gratefully received and we had the other one over the
weekend.
